We turned Enescu's tragic life into a mesmerizing visual symphony
Toma Enache entrusted us with the incredible opportunity to create the opening titles for his latest feature, the first film to depict George Enescu's tragic life. After extensive discussions, we decided to illustrate Enescu's life tragedy through a powerful visual metaphor: the musician sacrificing himself for the sake of his creation. We distilled some of the film's most iconic moments into their essential forms, transforming the characters into statuesque figures. Thus Enescu gets presented throughout the entire title sequence as a continuously decaying statue, with the first layer of his body turning into musical notes, symbolizing the erosion of his spirit by his genius.
